im sorting my engine bay, need some advice on relocating stuff like washer bottle, coolant bottle and wires, hoses. anyhelp would be brilliant. car is a 8v.
-
I will also be doing this over the next few months.
For the coolant bottle, I've considered getting a top-fill radiator.
-
when I did mine ( see my project section for details, black mk 2 not the rallye one) I put the majority of the wiring in the chassis legs. easy enough to do and I didn't need to extend anything either.
Alot of it depends on how far you want to go and how skilled you are at being creative and being able to make alternatives.
-
I keep mine in my pants, it works a treat

does anyone know a suitable top fill radiator to use, preferably one that doesnt need to much work to monutn. cheers

Oh so you just rid of the expansion tank then? That's gotta be more hassle then its worth re-routing the hosing? But it deffo would look empty in that bay lol :)
