Title: best way to remove my scratches??
Post by: Ant168 on 19 February 2010, 16:37

I was 1/2 asleep when parking and results are shown.  I've already tried to polish it out but this is what's left??  Should I use sand it down, 'T-Cut' it then spray over it??

Thanks

Ant

t-cut will not get that out. seeing as its only the bump-strip, you may be able to just mask off the other sections, sand it down until you get it kind of smooth, primer it, get the right colour from autopaints (or similar) in rattle can form, spray then lacquer.

rub down and respray as said above but if its metallic paint then you will have to do the whole bumpstrip, metallic paint wont blend with the existing paint so you'll have to do the whole strip so it all matches.
