Title: Top tint windscreen?

Hi. Does anybody know if its possible to buy a top tint windscreen from VW dealers or are they obsolete? If they are still available do you have a part number and idea of price? Thanks.

the only ones ive seen are pattern top tint screens

You could get someone to fit a tinted strip to the top of th windscreen, maybe this would look as good.  

I rang autoglass the other day looking for a front windscreen for my own Mk2, they told me they can supply a tinted windscreen.  Maybe try them.

191 845 101 H - windscreen glass with tinted zone, green - 110+VAT

my top tinted screen is an RAC jobber, very good quality nice dark tint zone. some have a light green tint zone and dont look as good imo.

now we're talking, wont that cost a fair bit to firstly buy and sort the ancillaries for it to work though?  :undecided:

just wire in a 2nd screen heater switch to a timed relay nicked out of a ford or something

Is the seal still availible as i got an rac windscreen with one of their seals,their seal isnt as wide and leaks :sad:
