Title: help with a wiring diagram for my 1990

i want to sort out the wiring on my mk2 for the stereo as the previous owner chopped off the harness so i am left with loads of cut wires and no stereo.

so can someone help me and tell me what colours are what?

wire colours might not match, but with some investigation ytou should be able to figure out what wire colours are going to what speaker.
power & earth are all you need for the power plug, the other wires dont do anything on modern stereos. your mk2 probably wont have an ignition live feed either, only the very last MK2s god a key-in-ignition live feed from the ign switch.
