Hii all,
I was wondering whether or not my wheel arches would experience some rubbing if I stuck on some 17" BBS RS Split Rims on a 40mm lowered MK3.
Could anyone guide me on wheel size and lowering max?
Thank you,

Hi Mate 17 inch rims will be fine Mate. The pic in my sig is mine lowered 40mm rear and 60mm front with 17 inch wheels on and I get no rubbing. Others on here have lowered a lot more and have no trouble. 40mm drop will give you no problems Mate. Cheers Deano

how about 18"?
get 19's (it will look proper bling )
-
Make it 20" and raise the car by 40mm?
-
16"s is the better all round choice and will give you loads of room in the arches, 17"s will fit but may rub the rear arches.

I have 17's fitted on mine and they do not rub (touch wood) but I think they are not right for the car and have done a deal for some 16 inch wheels and can't wait to fit these and get some new pictures took at the weekend.

im down 35mm and my 17's only rub when a fatty gets in the back

Easy fix.
Dont allow fatties in. :afro:
