Title: Weight of a Mk2 door. Anybody know?!

Need to send a door to NI soon as. Guy who's buying it needs to know the weight for carriage. The door is at my mate's place and he's in Wales for a few days. Just wondering if anyone has shipped or weighed a bare door off a three door mk2. If so, how heavy? Cheers in advance guys.  :wink:

Quiet heavy.... Even mor if the Glass is in... Couriers wont insure the glass either...

Guess you don't have any bathroom scales?

Yes mate, I do. But the door is at my mate's house, and I don't have a key!!!!  :laugh:

guesstimate 40 - 50kg cant be much more!

Really? That much? I wouldn't have thought more than 30 max, closer to 25. Again, guessing, but I carried one with glass in, and comparing it to a case of sugar (I work in a shop, 12 1kg bags to a case) wouldn't have thought it weighed more than 2 cases

40kg should be safe, doors are heavier than they look lol
