Title: immobiliser key

When I bought it had a Clifford immobiliser fitted but only came with one key,on which the loop is broken so can't be attached to a keyring. Needless to say I am a bit nervous about losing this! Is it possible to obtain spare keys for it, and where do I get them?

What kinda key is it? I tried to get one for my laserline but they dont make them anymore

I contacted my local laserline dealer etc and gave em the model number off my certificate

The key is shaped a bit like a rugby ball with a loop on side, about inch and a half long. You have to hold it in a certain place to turn off immobiliser( sorry if this is obvious but I have never used an immobiliser before so not sure if they are all the same).

It was a silly question to ask on my behalf anyway to be honest.

Give clifford a bell and give em your model number mate, might be able to send you a replacement key and you can use the broken one as a spare  :smiley:

it will be a clifford virtual key
now obsolete from clifford i'm afraid

i'm a clifford dealer so i can call them on monday and see if it possible to get a replacement key fob
i wouldn't hold your breath though as the latest version (virtual key 2) went obsolete 4 years ago and directed don't list them anymore
i am now going to pm you the programming instructions

general rule of thum holds true then, if you have an aftermarket immob remove it as it will be more inconvinience to you than the pikeys,  lost count of the immobs i've removed and TBH it's not like there hard to get past, the factory immobs in the ecu are the only ones that actualy work
