Hey all,
Does anyone know whether these will fit my 88 'e' plate GTi cab (Standard suspension) without needing any mods? wheel arch cutting / rolling etc
4 x 100 15 x 7 ET28
Fitted with 195/45/15
I know that the standard ET is 38 so I'm wondering whether these would fowl the arches.
Cheers

Will be fine, if you lower it they may need the arches trimming.

Thanks Wayne, much appreciated!! will it be OK loaded IE with mates in the back?
-
should be fine, had same size wheels on back o my cabby and no issues at all

SOME PEOPLE!!
The vendor of the wheels I 'bought' well won on ebay has decided that the wheels didn't reach the amount he wanted so has pulled out of the deal    obviously there's nothing I can do about it other than search for more. So I will probably be posting something similar in the not too distant future - unless of course some one could post up the wheel range would fit with standard suspension without fouling the suspension / arches. A wheel guide if you like

Sorry guys but I have a new wheel query,
Being as though the last wheels fell through being as though the vendor decided not to bother selling them, please could you advise whether the following will fit. I have checked with the offset checker http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp (http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp) and it states that these will have 20mm less inner clearance and will stick out an additional 6mm just unsure whether this means that they will foul or not
The wheels are
16" 8J width ET45
tyres, stretched 195 45 16's
Cheers all

I think you'll have problems with them catching.
You gotta be careful on the offset on the rims you buy, spacers can help if you can get away with them but not always and you could be well.... lets say screwed....

ET45 will need spacing really.
