Title: Dsg Car Mats.

Any recomendations for a reasonable set of mats to suit a MK5 DSG footwell with oval fasteners that i can buy on Ebay?

The mats are exactly the same,  whether manual or DSG

I have an old, but unused, full set of 4 dark anthracite VW mats for the MK V Golf with the older oval fitting if you're interested.

They are genuine VW ones still in their wrapper with part number etc.  Just not got round to posting on E-bay yet  :rolleyes:

Just one thing,I would require them to be posted to Northern Ireland so you would need to check out the P&P.

I have found the official rubber one's from the stealers are billiant. I much prefer rubber mats to carpet one's.

Not a bad idea,its just the carpet ones will cost a bit less and trying to save the pennies.
As you can see from my post count I'm a newbie having just got myself a 06 MK5 with DSG  :drool:

They are about £65 - £70 for a full set of 4 at the Stealers

I'd be looking for around £25 - £30 (they are completely unused)

I'll check on postage to NI, as they are obviously quite bulky !! 

The p&p may rule it out for you  :sad:

It's worth using OEM VW ones because of the oval fittings

........i have just the front ''rubber mates'' in mine genuine VW oval fixing (don't forget to tell them if they need to order ) & they were only about 24 quid + a bit of vat of course.  :wink:

Do you mean they are genuine VW ones you ordered from a stealer?
Just a front set would suit fine.
