Title: GTD Engine

Am I right in thinking the GTD engine is exactly the same as whats in the MK5 GT Sport 2.0 TDI 170?

Early Mk5 GT and GT Sports were the 170 PD engine.
The Mk6 is the common rail 170.

Not sure if the Mk5 ever got the 170 CR engine...I don't remember it.
It was in the A3...then the Mk6.

Ahh right, thanks for that matey.

Im pretty sure the MK5 only came in the PD form.

Mk5 was PD.
mk6 is CR imo a big difference.
