Hello everyone, new to this site and joined for some advice on golfs. Looking to buy a black Golf MK4 soon and was just wondering a few things like what wheels to the best springs etc as i want to get it right.
If i buy a bog standard MK4 im thinking of putting some alloy wheels on (17") and lowering it. I was just wonderin what the best brand of springs and shock to buy and what MM springs would look the best on 17" alloys. I havnt bought the wheels yet but a mate of mine is selling his of his audi a3 and said that they should fit a golf, would they? I dont know the name of the alloys but they are 5 spoke and of an a3. I have got an idea of what i want it to look like i have got a pic but no idea how to upload it.

imo 17's look too small as the mk4 is a big body and 35mm is about your limit without replacing the anti roll bar as they catch the drive shaft.
