Title: Parcel shelf supports 16V GTI 91 H plate

Evening all

I am trying to fix some new parcel shelf supports in my car, but i am having trouble as present, i need to thread the seat belt thru the supports in both shelves, anyone advise me on this is done please??

Had the seat belt unbolted at the side of the passenger bench seat but still no joy, any advice will be very much appreciated.

undo it at the other end, it all threads in from underneath!

You have to take it off at the rear quarter pillar as well, then it all runs through the slot in the shelf, a bit tight, iirc I think you can remove the black plastic insert in the shelf slot to make it a bit bigger. Fiddley but quite easy. You don't have to take the inertia reel part in the boot off.
