Title: Urgent help needed! Whats holding the battery in!

Tryin to change battery my mk5 as we speak but cant see how the battery is held in place on the tray??

I have removed + and - but cant find whats holding battery??

You should find some clamps holding the battery in place right down at its base.

After some investigation found a small metal fixing held in place witha bolt. Got it loosened n got the job done. Certainlay better than £137 for a battery and fittin from Edinburgh Vw at Gorgie!
