Title: Back again...
Post by: FlySpeck on 08 February 2010, 01:49
Hi all, I was on the site quite a few years ago with a red gti, different username etc...no longer got the same email etc so made a new account. See a few familiar names still here, but lots of new ones too.

Well, I have been on the darkside, driving jap turbo weaponry until I decided to go back to the loving arms of veedub, and got myself a VR6... - GOD I love the noise this thing makes!

Damn, bits are cheep for VW compared to jap stuff.

Nice to be back!

the car has one o those scorpion dtm bazooka pipes, 2 fappin huge trumpets sticking out the back, looked awful, so I split the welded nuts off the tailpipes and slid the trumpets off, leaving 2 short stubby 3" exits.....but its killed the burble a lot and made it even dronier

Anyone else got one of these exhausts and do you know if the trumpets are necessary or am i just not hearing it in the car cos its now tucked just inder the bumper?
