Title: ESP Light on & Shuddering?
Post by: gashair on 07 February 2010, 16:02
Hi all, I was driving along today, my ESP light came on and the car started shuddering under acceleration.  The ESP light has stayed on and everytime I try to accelerate it really shudders quite bad.  Also now sat at idle its running rough and sounds like some cylinders are not firing.  Its a 1.9TDI model.. Any ideas?!?!

loom to cylinder 1 has failed due to oil corrosion

about 40 quid for the wire dealers

plus 1 hr labour

basically when u drive esp light and shuddering comes on after a while can be temperamental, rough iling , slow accelaration max speed 70

Oh right, have you had this then?? It is tempremental, it was fine for about 5 mins this morning then did it again. Gave it a few minutes. Turned it off for a few mins, then started it again and run fine for 10 mins.  Is that an easy part to replace?
