Title: MK3 GLOVE BOX - very interesting...

The handle on my glovebox has been broken off and I can't get it open. I have two problems, firstly I can't remember which way is locked using the key, is it clockwise or anti ?

Secondly, once I know it's unlocked what do I do? I can fiddle around and try and force it open, but I really need to know how it locks in the first place before I start my bodging.

Any comments or ideally pictures greatly appreciated.

P.S - I lied about this being interesting.

Get the parts to repair the handle from WV, then you will be able to see how to open the glove box, very common problem. Hope this helps, Steve.

Same happened on mine, a quick wiggle about with a screwdriver opened it up. Eurocarparts do the handle, about a ?5
