Title: pre 90/90 spec heater box **Now with part numbers!**

Hi all, just picked up a replacement heater box from a mk2 to replace my knackered one.. and it's compeltely different! Looks a bit bigger and everything is in different places.

Are pre 90 spec ones different to 90 spec ones or something? My car is a 91 16v.

nope I'm afraid. I'm in Sheffield and they're in Durham now! I'll get the part numbers though.

answer is no, they're the same. if its a lot bigger you may have an aircon one?

Doesn't seem to exist as a part number! Any others on't there?

sound like an air con box. the motor on a a/c one mounts vertical, while the normal one mounts horizontal. hope that helps you. if it is a/c, where did you get it because i need to get hold of a compresser. cheers, stu

I might be able to put you in touch with someone that has a full aircon kit. He's just ripped it out of his car while fitting an ABF :)
