Title: Digi mfa and rev counter - what fuse?

Started the car tonight for the first time in ages, started turn of the key but rev counter isnt working and usual jargon on mfa screen. My bonnet latch spring has gone walkies so can someone tell me what fuse to take out to reset it please?

1990 Digi 8valve by the way

I am mystified why the bonnet latch spring has got anything to do with the fuse box??? And btw the bottom half of the bonnet latch is no longer available from VW as I found out last year when my spring went walkies!! :sad:
