Im not too sure which way to lean. Ive a mk2 jetta 16v and am likely to stay 16v in the future and wuill prob head back to a golf in the future. My budget is around the £500 mark, but id like some corrosion protection as its a daily hack. I plan to have some track days and a bit of general poncing about too.
Please give me any first hand experiences you have. Ive heard that FK quality has gone down, and I bought a set of Highsports for the Golf Syncro in the early days when they were good. The Jetta will be fitted with an RE1900 16v soon and is fitted with Powerflex bushes all around excluding topmounts, and standard ARBs
So far Ive found
GAZ GHA for £528
Sax RSX for £485
FK Highsport for £388
Apex RDX for £364 ???
Leda fast road for £525
Any feedback or recommendations please

Dont bother with Fk (had them myself and they were utter sh!te in soooo many ways) and where did you get the price for the Leda kit?

i thought my fk's were excellent! they were the konigsports though with koni inserts
i think that leda price is per corner

Have a look at AP reasonable price and decent ride :)

yeah im rolling on konigsports at the moment, effectivly koni coilovers with fk springs. gotta love a bit of height and damping adjustable.
rides a little firm but handling is spot on, could be better if i raised them slightly though.
I do have a receipt for £700 for them however, so not cheap!

been looking at the syncro today and it wasnt the highsports but the konigsports id bought! DOH!
I went on the leda website and it didnt say owt about per corner.
