Title: Rough value?
Post by: Stitch on 02 February 2010, 19:13
Trying to gauge how much my GTi is now worth. Glass's guide indicates just over the £12k mark but I would welcome some VW experts opinions.

Mk5 Golf GTi 5 dr manual
44k miles
FVWSH
Reflex metallic silver
18" Monza II's
1 previous owner (i'm the second)
4 new-ish (month or two) tyres
Also has front lense protectors and a boot liner.
Just about to have it's 40k mile service
Mot until Sept 2010
Tax till April 2010

3 of the 4 alloys have milk/white worm issues.

Thanks

I'd try webuyanycar for a rough trade valuation and add £1-1.5k. (ish) or am I being optimistic?

I did try them a few weeks ago and they were offering £12,150 for a mint car with my milage so not a million miles away from what Glass's has.
