not sticking up for the vauxhalls here, if you know me you know ive had foookin alsorts of cars in the past as ive bought and sold since i was 17, and ill give em there dues, vauxhall engines are pretty good (16v red tops) i used to have a g reg 16v astra gte, and a cav gsi (was chipped, full stainless (cat removed) induction kit etc) and they are fookin quick!!!, fair play to who ever spent the time/money/effort puttin that lump in that golf!!!

i wouldnt mind takin it for a spin to see what it goes like!!!

(not that im knocking vw engines in anyway)

i just like to see 'different' things for a change thats all!!

Rock solid engines. Thrashed one about in my trusty Nova for a whole year and still going strong. Engines are good.....at the moment i have a 9a in my Golf, performs the same if maybe a little weaker down the rev range.

i got me one of those engines in my westfield!!
but its got 210bhp and the car only weighs 580kg's!!

hehe  :)

thats aloud in a westfield, vr6 would b nice in it? ;D
my dads mates got a vary treeked turboed hyabusa moterbike lump in his kit car. thats goes ;)

bet it shifts wouldn't mine knowing the 0-60 etc of it and top end speed :)

Or see it at the pod head to head against a G60
