Hello,
I'm getting an i-pod connector lead for my Kenwood KDC-M7024, and wondered how I run the wire to my glove box. Is it hard, do I need to make a hole in the glove box?
I wonder if anyone knows how to get the front panel at a lower angle. I used the controls on the HU, but it won't go much beyond 45 degrees. Is it worth pressing reset or is it just broke. It goes up and down fine, and stows correctly.
Thanks
Rich

what car is if first as you may not need to drill a hole
as for the angle adjustment all you get is what you can adjust by using buttons 1&2 if memory serves

It's a Mk3 GTi with no passenger air bag.
I've tried the controls on the HU, but it won't go below 45 degrees. You can sort of force it by pressing up and holding it and then the down button make it go down, but when you turn it off and on it resumes the 45 degree position.

as isaid the only way of adjusting it is using the buttons on the h/u and it will not go any further than 45 degrees
as it is a mk3 you will need to drill a hole
i recommend drilling it on the top of the glove box as if you cam to sell the car the prospective buyer will not see the hole

i have a mk3 with ipod connection, all i did was flick the glove box light out and feed the cable thru that, but depends if you want a light or not tho?? i don't so not too bothered, if you do then as stated its a hole in the top of the glove box
