ha ha awsome... way ahead of me then.
Lowered? R-tech tuned?
-
ye its lowerd im thinking of changing the lowering kit tho its a very stif ride at the moment
the engin is fully standard i have an induction kit i have on it ocationaly but i take it off to save petrol
i also have police strobes 2 behind he grill and 2 where the fog light convertion gos (i no it dost look like an unmarked car but i put them on for a laff and at night you cant tel whats behind you and i have puled a few of my mates )
-
Hmmm, not sure on the police light thing but whatever
-
What model is it?
I'm guessing a GL (4 stud wheels and body coloured bumpers are the clues) in which case, I don't think an induction kit is going to give much performance improvement.
As for the styling, I'm not a fan of the chrome arches, but if you had a chrome lip on the alloys it might fit the look a bit more.
The green lights are just gonna get you unwanted attention from mr plod, so I'd ditch those.
Otherwise looks alright, clean body.
Any interior mods?
(This thread should be in Dub Rides section really, someone wanna move it?)
-
its the 1.8 driver
the bumpers wer origanaly black
The green lights are only on the sidelights cant see the green when main lights are on
only interior mod is it has the gti seats im looking in to geting a new interior tho

Strobe lights - what an astoundingly stupid idea.
The colour mings
The car looks Barry-tastic.
-
Sell it and buy a GTi

If i were you i would go for a subtle look on this car, it will save you money yet make your car look nicer too.
1. cheap coilover set up to bring the height down
2. rid the windscreen of the sunshield (like you have done already, top man )
3. maybe keep the wheels and paint them black and space them out uing 15mm spacers.
4 paint grill badge black and remover rear badges.
5 and finally please revert to standard headlights and remove the green neon in the grill
but those are just the first things that i would do to it.
but car looks in good nic ,well done

+1
Everything is a bit chavtastic for me. With a colour like that, it's all about subtlety. Some less "in your face" wheels would be good. Take the car back down to basics and just get it really tidy.
Actually, just buy a gti in a nice colour instead. Lower it, set of sensible wheels and a couple of subtle mods.

lights off, sun strip off, alloys off (although they ain't too bad), chrome wheel arches off.

i am aware the chrome arches are not popular with alot of pepol but i like them so im not after coments telling me to get them off (http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs028.snc1/3163_193068240025_893700025_6634217_6780111_n.jpg)(http://photos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs028.snc1/3163_193068275025_893700025_6634220_4597708_n.jpg)(http://photos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs028.snc1/3163_193068285025_893700025_6634221_1412805_n.jpg)(http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs083.snc1/4567_218506750025_893700025_7234956_4165851_n.jpg)(http://photos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs083.snc1/4567_218506760025_893700025_7234957_1751483_n.jpg)
You need to have a serious word with yourself about the chrome arches! not cool, unless its a 30 year old Merc, and even that's questionable.... Front needs lowering another 20-30mm, and the colour of the car needs balancing out, by painting the wheel centers, maybe gold, or a set of BBS reps, colour of the car could look very cool as long as all door gaps, and shut lines are impeccable, and no dents or scratches, or "off colour" panels, everything else back to standard, and dont even think about tinting the windows, but a nice top tint windscreen would look good, if it doesn't already have one.... with that colour, less is more!
