Title: RNS 510 Versions

Hi! all,  I'm looking to upgrade my RCD510 to a RNS510 latest version "C" there seems to be a couple of part No versions about on Ebay:-

1: 1T0 035 680 C

2: 3C0 035 680 C

With Varing Software Versions 2680,2660

Anyone Know? what the differences  between these units and software versions are ?, Would both be ok and function correctly with MFSW,MFD,Bluetooth,Voice control,Climate control ect. I know these have to be coded with vagcom. Just want to make sure i get the right unit.

From my limited knowledge on the subject, 1T0 is from a Golf and the 3C0 from a Pissrat.
Software wise, I think the higher the number the later spec it is. I would email the sellers first to find what build date the units are, if you can find one that's built close to your cars build date then they should in theory have similar operating set ups.

Have a look on vwnavi.com - it tells you the difference between the 2 different software revisions.
I'm pretty sure 2660 is a beta version, and 2680 is the final one - but I could be totally wrong!
