I'm on the lookout for an '05 Gti at the moment,
I'm hoping to get a high spec car and was wondering why this one hasn't sold yet, the ad is 30 days old and he's dropped from £11.5k to £9k
I know it needs the bonnet/roof resprayed in original colour, a nice set of polished 18'' monza's and all the crap in the engine bay needs to be removed but apart from that it looks good!!
That kind of spec is quite rare, so why hasn't it sold yet for that price?
Has anybody from here looked at it/checked it out?

I don't want to go over from Ireland to find it's a pile of sh!t!
Let me know if you've seen it, PM if you don't want to post.

That amount of mods puts me well off, maybe I'm not the only one!

probably the fact it has been so f*cked around with, people would rather buy a minter, than deal with the hassle, in my opinion.
-
I'm not surprised it's not sold actually, I phoned him up today about it, what a cock! I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of buying it.

TBH I find that people who modify cars using high spec equipment usually keep a good car, it shows they care and like their cars !
Its the standard poorly maintained family wagens you need to look out for, there are a few dogs about !!
(not saying this is a good or bad example BTW, its best to walk away if the owner is a bit knobish though)

Thing is VW & other car manafactures spend millions developing cars & then some spotty little youth thinks that 100.00 quid's worth of bolt on goodies from Halfords makes it better !!!!!!!. Leave it factory for me.

I dont like that red GTI it does look chavtastic, but as good as the GTI is it can be drastically improved.
Remember despite how much VW spend on development they are working to a budget.
