well i want to stop lol. are all standard discs pretty much the same?

there's a seller on ebay called mintbitz selling grooved and dimpled discs. Anyone had any experience of these or heard anything good or bad about them? is it worth getting these over standard ones?

grooved disks do improve cooling/breaking but eat pads like a cheese grator, TRW stop fine, all disks are pretty standard, if you real cheap you may end up with some dodge warped unbalanced ones but if they are from any largish company theyll be fine

so on a standard 16v the standard discs do the job just fine?

think i'll order some standard discs and pads then unless anyone tells me otherwise?

if you want better breaking the general idea is go with better pads, those green stuff ones are meant to be alright although ive not tried them, but if you want full force breaking then go with grooved disks and full on race pads but thats when it gets expensive

it's for standard road use and to be honest your stopping power is only as good as the tyres on the car (which on mine are sh1t atm). when i get the new wheels and decent tyres i'll think about upgrading. £76 delivered for discs and pads ain't bad though!
