Hey - just a quick question for you insurance gurus, particularly HIC :)
I had a 1.3 Fiesta covered with Endsleigh and I had the insurance for a year and had no accidents, meaning 1 year ncb.
However, 2 weeks before the policy was due to expire, I took up another policy with Bell because Endsleigh wouldn't switch the Golf over.
Now I know you'll all say why didn't you just wait - I couldn't lol.
Anyway, I was wondering if HIC or any other insurance companies would take this as a years NCB and then when my Bell policy expires, take both the NCB so 2 Years NCB?
Cheers

It's all going to depend on what proof bell are going to send you. If they send you 1 yrs NCB thats all you can use  you can't put the 2x1yrs together.
So i would have a word with bell and explain the situation and see if they will let you put your 1 yrs NCB on your current policy and then they will supply you with 2yrs when your current one expires.
Hope this helps

The policy you have taken out with bell. Was that taken out with 1YNCB or 0YNCB ?
If it was 0 then I can see you struggling and also your a damm fool. You would have saved LOADS with that 1YNCB all for 2 weeks but I'm beginning to sound like my dad now so will stop :D

OH believe me I've heard it already.
I'd have saved more in the coming years but for the first ncb my difference was about £100 for the year.
Nevermind we live and learn :D

So I take it the Bell policy is with 0NCB ? All you can do is ask, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
