Thought I would post up pics of the wheels now that the car is clean.

Looks very nice - nice car colour as well
I see you have the Park Assist - how do you find it? I have ordered it and wondered to what extent it actually helps with parallel parking ..?

I have only used it a handful of times but does seem pretty good, I ordered it as this was going to be my wifes and thought it may benefit her.

Same thinking for me as well ... wifes car, alloy wheels, park assist ...
-
Car looks great mags. GTI + BBS =
Are those Vredestein's - what do you think of them? And are they 225/35's?
-
Sorry to come in and say this but I really don't think they suit the car. I'm a BBS whore, and I love the look of the MK6 GTi but I struggled to agree with them looking great on the MK5 let alone the MK6. The MK6 looks too aggressive and those wheels are too soft compared to the rest of the car. I do however feel they look great on the MK4.

I can see what you're saying but I think the Mk6 has enough curves to carry off the CH. I've been considering the RS-GT.

Now THOSE would look sexy as you like on the MK6. A lot sharper edged and a bit of dish too! Get them! :afro:

we don't care that you may become financially ruined as a result!

Exactly, our viewing pleasure is what's important here, not if you break the bank to get them.

A bit chauvinistic that. My car does NOT have park assist I am female but guess what? I can park all by myself. Clever huh?

Not chauvinistic on my part, my other half is a really good driver but with a screaming child in the back I thought it would be a good extra considering the low outlay. Just gone for a camera on our new car as I have found that really useful.
-
More practical actually, as my wife hates parallel parking, and anything that helps is a bonus - trying to find, and get into, a big enough parking space with 3 small kids doing their thing is a daily challenge.
She is getting fed up with kerbing wheels while shouting at the kids to shut up ...
I am also hoping to find the park assist useful on the odd occasion when I drive the car ... as I'm not winning any prizes for my parallel parking skills at the moment
-
I'm happy to admit I'm crap at parallel parking in comparrison to my wife. I'm also crap at judging the front of the car (always leave too much room when parking).
There's more important things in life for me to be bothered about.

Must admit do wish I'd gone for the camera as you never know what may come lurking up behind you!! even though I can park, sadly I don't have eyes everywhere and have been caught out behind before.

I thought the age old saying was "women have eyes everywhere". Well that's what my Mum used to say. Stopped me being so naughty.

I like the wheels. I think it looks good. Reminds me of the Edition 30 look. A bit less in-your-face than the Monza shadows.

That's amazing.
Teach me how to park please.

They are 19's with Vredersteins 225,35,19 which I have found pretty good thus far.

Lovely wheels chap!!
I'm not a fan of the Monza's II's and had them on my first Mk5 GTi.....and when I got my Ed30 I was so much happier with the Peascara's.....so excellent choice!!
