Title: Sat Nav for Golf Gti Mk5 - What is the model number?

Hi

Am after a standard factory fitted sat nav unit that was fitted in the Golf Gti Mk5's. I see there is a few on sale on ebay, could someone kindly tell me which model I need to go for. Thanks

MFD2 or MFD3 (RNS510)

I am also interested, but they quote only £600 to supply and fit an RNS510. Is this true??? That's at least £1000 cheaper than VW so I'm a bit dubious about that claim.

Nice one.

MFD2 does not play CD's while Sat Nav is on.  :grin:

Not from the unit, you need to have either the 6 CD changer or ipod dock for tunes when navigating  :wink:
