Title: Double din radio help
Post by: golf-sib on 23 January 2010, 15:30
My new double din unit does not have a radio female plug, it does have a:

Radio Vcc
Gnd Power

Im guessing I strip the old plug down and just a electricians block to join them together?

Many Thanks in advance

Alex

on the stereo loom you should have a red and a yellow wire
connect the red coming from the stereo to the yellow on the female iso and then connect the yellow from the stereo to the red on the female iso

cut strip and CRIMP
don't attempt to remove the pins from the block unless you have the correct tool as you will ruin your plug otherwise

Thanks troublestarter I did the switch between the colours and it still kept reseting, so I merged both the colours and made them run parellel to the yellow 12v, work like a charm, thanks for all the help everyone!
