Title: R Test Drive in Top Gear

Latest issue of Top Gear has a very positive write up of the Golf R

Tester isn't even put off by the price, as he provides a very good set of "Man Maths" calculations to justify why the R is worth the extra over the standard GTI   :laugh:

All in all he is very impressed and appears keen to purchase one ...

Have any of the reviews of the R done performance figure testing?

excellent news! Is it a short review?
Just went out to try and find a copy.... I guess you have a subscription?

Not sure if anyone's seen Car Magazine but the R's on the front cover and has a head to head against the Megane RS inside. Going slightly off topic and even though I'm all for understated perfomance cars, the R looks a bit too normal in my opinion for a car of its standing...  :undecided:

I haven't seen any testing with GPS tech yet.

Maybe if I take my performance box down to my dealers for a test drive they will let me use it......................err or not :laugh:
