Got a new 1.8T (180bhp) Golf. ;D
Can i use 98 RON as well as the usual 95 RON unleaded petrol, without modifying anything? ???
Car manual says 95 ron, but looking on the inside of the petrol cap shows a stick saying 95/ 98 RON (or is this just a standard sticker?).
Also, is there any real difference using optimax or not?
Cheers.

ello mate,
ive got 99 1.8 20v non turbo, says the same on inside of cap, ran car real low on juice then banged a tenners worth of optimax in, within 10 mins of fuel gettin to engine the car was goin loads better than it ever has, on mk4 website every 1 is on about it all the time sayin how good it was, and i have to agree worth the extra pence per litre id say

I use Optimax and I have noticed alot of difference in the performance,
A much smoother ride and I've noticed you get more miles to the tank.
You gunna send me some pics then Pauly :)

We'll optimax has gone in at last.
Is it the juice or what, but changing gear seems alot smoother, doens't seem to pause as much, waiting for the turnbo now.
Was thinking of getting a new recirculator but may not need one now!!
Top Smart!
