easy to get hold of from halfords? how much am i looking at?
-
depends what you go for.
I got a heavy duty battery with 5 year gaurantee for around ?50. Pretty handy as I have manged to lose 2 in the past 2 years because of the harsh winters!
-
oes heavy duty hold more charge? ???
-
Not too sure whether they hold more charge-heavy duty batteries r more for people who run alot more eletrical equipment,i.e ya sound system.
Ads is probs about rite at the price mark, but depends on wot make/kinda output ya want from ya battery-they easy enuff to figure out @Halfords. :P
btw Rich, any chance o makin ya sig bigger? :P
Dinx? :-*

i know the answer (bought one today).
the 620 amp cold cranking heavy duty calcium battery is ?59 at halfords, you will need the battery clamp spacer wich is free but you have to ask for it.
the lowest amp battery is only about ?10 cheaper so the hd one is probably best value.

mine was only 47 quid for some reason! car is running smoothly at last!
-
it depends on your batteries capacity as to cost (obviously brand aswell). what was the cca on yours?
-
its a 620 amp calcium battery. 10 quid more than std battery, 4 yr warranty.
