Hey everyone, i just bought my first 96 mk3 8v gti today, 140,000 miles, but a more or less complete service history for only 600 quid. Body work has a few scuffs and dinks, but this is gonna be my new project i think.. I did buy a mk2 16v gti a couple of years back but never got round to working on it, so sold it on. This one will be different hopefully as i've got more time nowdays! Anyways I live in Canterbury, Kent. And it would be good to hear from some people local or further afield!

don't get much further afield in the uk than here. lol  :smiley:

good luck with the project, loads of info in mk3 section. don't be scared to ask questions but might want to do a quick search first because chances are someone has asked before  :wink:  :cool:
