Title: HELP!! Alarm wont go off/fob wont work!

Was workin behind the glovebox shelf and found a black box which must be the alarm/remote locking control unit? Anyway i pushed it up out the way which must have loosened one of the plug connectors and set the alarm off but the key fob wouldn't turn it off as it has also stopped working?? I have deffenatly pushed the plugs back into place on the black box but still nothing! I'v had to use the key under the bonnet to stop the alarm from sounding over and over!
By the way its a VW alarm system. Is there a way to just reset it and get the fob and remote locking working again? Thanks

Problem over i took the Neg off the battery to reset and now its fine!!
