Hi Guys
I'm a proud new owner of a Mrk6 GTI DSG, so I though I'd share a couple of pictures with you all.....
The car is ex demo so it came with a a fair few extras, which saved a few pennies and also cut out the waiting time to get my hands on one.
I'm really pleased with the look of the Monza's as to be honest I wasn't sure at first. I would however like a set of BBS CH's in black for winter next year, so I best start saving now.
Hope you all like, enjoy M

yum

Nice spec car, mate... :afro:
Its a pretty small change, but I think the white-lit dials on the MKVI is a million times nicer than MKV.

The blue was a bit of a VAG trend for a while, but you're right the new dials do look good.

Looks great - i've got a white 5DR DSG onm order so nice to see some pics other than the same old marketing stuff.
I didn't go for leather but it does like quite nice. (spent my money on Xenons and ACC)
Did you get a reasonable deal with it been used ?

Very nice indeed.
I kept flipping between white and black myself - ended up with the DBP, but would have been just as happy with the white... looks stunning.
Enjoy it.

Very nice, in the best colour too

Very nice car congrats
Question: if I am not mistaken I see the 510 RNS, why do you choose to have the VW screen on the dash for your phone..(I am asking since I am to decide how I want my phone :undecided:....100 % working. :lipsrsealed:..my collegue has problems with the VW software for this extra screen set-up...losing conversations )

Very nice, enjoy

^^^^^^That signature is no doubt very confusing to those among us who don't know you've updated a black MKV .:R32 to a white MKVI GTI...

What about the one were it was trying to hide

I wish i had gone down this route now. I should have bought that black one from stock someone else did on here or the dealers demo black one and saved myself so much time and hassle.
-
I like the golf in white, nice choice of colour...
Sorry if I'm about to upset everyone but  I don't think that any of the golf models are really much in the looks dept & I say this having just bought a MK5 GTI. It looks a bit better in the 3 door & to be fair the side profile is probably it's worst view.
Now to try & get everyone back on my side....what the Golf does well though is everything else, very impressed with mine so far (after 3 weeks ownership) - nice build quality, great ride quality/road holding & terrific engine.
I'm sure you'll enjoy it !!

I do have some pics.. but none of them nice enough for a sig. I will work on it

Lovely motor, there  .
What are the leather seats like? I've ordered them on mine but a few comments have said the leather doesn't feel quite as good to the touch as it should ?
Congrats again !!

Yeh I'm pleased with the leather seats and the quality of them. I personally think it just adds a bit more class and a touch of luxury.
I had leather seats on my previous car which was a mk5 GT 170 DSG. I think once you've had a car with leather seats you always want the next car with fitted with them.

No not true! I had leather in my 307 but definitely wouldn't go for VW leather, anyway the cloth on the GTI is so smart and harks back to the good old GTI of the past.

Hi Guys
Nice. Enjoy.
Love the white but prefer the red. 2 of the best colours and they don't cost extra.
Saw one in white a week ago. Looked so fabulous that I nearly changed my order.
However, the leather already looks worn! Imagine it in 1 year!
I have ordered mine in cloth. Love the tartan -- so Golf GTi.
Most of my previous cars had leather so I decided to have a change. Find cloth more comfortable.
Mine was supposed to be build week 2. Now it is build week 9.
Any later and I am going going to book myself into the Degnitas Clinic in Switzerland for assisted suicide! Sadly, this might be my last post! My family might sue VW if this happens. Good luck to them. This might expidite the build date and they will at least get the GTi ASAP !

Stunning

superb looking motor - hope it drives as well as it looks, and hope you enjoy it
i really love the white, i've ordered my own in the white, but it's getting to the stage now where it seems 'too popular' and kind of loses that unique feel.... makes me almost want to choose blue or something instead
i suppose it's a good thing too, means would be easier to sell it on

MAW73 Can you help me out ...why did you choose to put a VW phonescreen on your dash.
I am asking because it looks like you have got an RNS510..
Maybe I am mistaken.
BTW my opinion ofcourse
but is it not so much nicer if you let the dealer install the VW screen on the frontside (instead on top) of your dash without the pedestal and cable....a collegue of mine has it that way and it looks more...uhh...integrated..

Seems to be quite an emotional topic. I agree the cloth has the retro look in sympathy with the original GTI but personally I think leather makes the interior look a bit classier, hence my original question. Still it would be a dull old world if we all had the same tastes...
