Title: Infinity Kappa Speakers MK4

I about to purchase these infinity kappa speakers 60.9 CS for my Golf MK4

but im not sure if they will fit as on the website it says 6.5"

however on this website which i want to buy them from it says they are 16cm not 17cm :S

6" will be fraction too small but you can make an mdf adapter ring to fit the speaker pods you need to buy to replace the factory speakers autoleads part number SAK3103

would i need the adapter if i purchase 17cm speakers regardless or only if i purchase speakers smaller than the stock size??

no you will not if you buy 6.5"/17cm they fit perfectly

Cool I didn't realise that if you buy 17cm speakers you don't need adapters to make them fit. I thought you need adapter fullstop regardless of size.

Any guide on how to make adapters out of MDF for the mk4?

you still need the adapters part number SAK-3103
i was saying if you fitted 6" instead of 6.5" you would have needed some spacer rings to fit them into the pods
