Title: not to sure on what calipers to get

as a bove, i have a 86 8v gti an need to change the rear calipers, will  mk3 gti or mk4 fit

I think the mk4's are meant to be better but then you need the goodridge hoses aswell.

MK3 and MK4 are essentially the same.

MK4 are likey to be newer - but need conversion hoses.
MK3 is more likely to be found in a scrappy and bolts straight on without hose faffing.
