What car?

The oil and water are deffo mixing though so you need to find where. Could be the oil cooler if your car has one fitted.

If you can do a compression check.

A blowen head gasket would give you the water oil mix and kill your mpg.  To loose both without a leak it would be your head gasket, as in all fluid is going out the exhaust

yeah missus one went over a long time, just more steam than normal before the final bellowing cloud, after that was sorted it's been fine for the past 2 years
Also we went to get a friends polo and that head gasket had gone, loosing oil/water drove that 150 mile topping up every now and then. surprising how well it did before we canged at over because of inpending mot

Head gasket not that bad to cange over and means you can get the cam belt at the same time (think about water pump)
