Post by: jettaTx on 22 October 2004, 14:03
I have just aquired a Mk1 with a 16v fitted into it on injection at the moment, What i was wondering was what can be done with this KR engine where can i get throttle bodies fitted and are these the best bet???

What about a trip to AmD in Bicester Oxford (I think). AdamB has just taken his storm corrado there and got some bigger throttle bodies fitted and only had good things to say about them. PM Ads and I'm sure he'll tell you all about it.  :)

Adding to what Gambit said - if it's standard what are u trying to achieve overall???

Sure a mad engine with lairy cams and DCOE 45's burbling away will give amazing performance, but have u ever lived with one  :o

We're more than happy to help u along, but give us a bit more to work with  ;)

a bit pricy but Jenvey Direct to head throttle body injection is quite nice. I have thought about running this set up on my mk2 16v along with a flowed head and cams.
