Title: Carbon Canister question

My car has developed a tapping noise which matches the rev.. but the wierd thing is, is that its noisier from inside the car than with your head under the bonnet, the carbon canister is getting noisy now could it be that? its definatly not the engine that taps. its coming from the belts side of the car. It will not be that, nothing inside could tap, sounds more like a follower maybe.

thanks for that, but its strange you go look under the bonnet with the engine running and you cant hear anything.. but you sit inside with doors and windows closed and you can clearly hear it... baffles the mind :huh:
