hi just abit of help a need thanks lol  ma golf gti mk4 1.8 turbo the rev counter keeps revin up and down as im slowin down or stoped at the lights  and the car is shakeing as its doing this anyone kno wot this mite b??? and also ive got a winding noise comeing from somewere ive had ma wheel bearin checked they seem ok also makes nouise wen useing the breaks thanks ppl help meeeeeeee lol

could be the isv (idle stabilisation valve), take it out and soak it in petrol over night, worth a try ands sorts it out 9 times outta 10 lol

oh and winding noise could be worn brake pads or disks, friends 3 year old car needed new pads last week!!

Just thought the mk4 doesnt have an isv, its all done in the throttle body, clean that then dry it out fully
