Title: Anyone upgraded to LED rear lights yet!
Post by: sundaydriver on 16 January 2010, 09:23: Im Looking to upgrade my rear lights on the GTI to the LED one's(as on new R's).

Anyone done it yet? Are they even available in the UK yet?

It would not suprise me if VW come up with LED DTRL for the next model year or later for the mk6 since everyone else is doing it.

Must need wiring adaptors also as they are in most of the pics but dont understand german and cant read the description.

Post by: Snoopy on 16 January 2010, 17:21: Im guessing like the normal lights you only have one reversing light and one foglight. Just remember if you buy them from Europe in the UK your rev/fog lights will be the wrong way round and not legal here unless you do some modifications to the rear lights to swop them over. Its the price we pay for driving on the correct side. :smiley:

It says on there site that these adapters are not suitable for right hand drive :sad:
