Title: dial kit type info thingy
Post by: ...joe on 21 October 2004, 19:36
i'm doing a bit of dial experimenting,
i want some of those premier dials but cant seem to get a set so thought i'd have a go myself. how the hell do you remove the needles? i don't want to damage the clocks but want to get the needles off so i can play around.
this is on my mk2 by the way so if anyone has any experience of dial kits or anything can you give me a few pointers?

cheers chaps and chapesses :P

according to my Maxpower / Haynes Manual, It says DO NOT remove the needle as there uber fiddly to put back on, Instead it says to cut some paper that will slot under the needle so you can paint em without getting paint on the dials.

hope that helps mate? ;D If your totally stuck, I can scan in the page and post it up here for you.
