Just got off the phone to Adrian Flux, and got a quote for a MK4 Golf GTi 1.8T, they said the insurance would be £850 for me right now with my current details (1 NCB, SP30) and modifications galore cosmetically with no further cost. Considering I'm paying £650 right now for my MK3 Golf GL 1.8 that's not bad at all.
However because I'm halfway through my policy, they would restart my policy and refund me some of my current policy towards it, but that means what I've earned so far for another NCB would be restarted too. And I really can't be arsed with that so will be letting my policy run until it finishes.
On the plus side, they said I MUST have a modification to the car for the policy to even be started! LMAO! Well good job I got that strut brace at the R-Tech Charity event.

No mate, I'm not undecided, what I have decided on is waiting until my insurance is due for renewal because it makes much more financial sense, just gotta save for the car now.
Don't worry Steve, is won't be a TDI, you can keep your tractor smoke machines. :lipsrsealed:

A TDI might make more sense if you do a lot of miles.

Which I don't so no need, I want the raw power of a petrol engine.

Soon, young apprentice, you will learn the power of the Dark Side...
