need to do an oil change and wondering what best for an 8v?
I normally use Duckhams Mineral 15/40 on my other veedubs would this be ok?
Also i got the original airbox to replace the K&N, does anyone have a pic of engine bay with where hoses etc would go?
Cheers

removing an induction kit? Simple enough, one hose to manifold, warm air hose (if you have one) to the bottom bit under the manifold, and the airbox input goes into the side panel.

What's the mileage and age?

there is a pic of the engine bay under a topic called common problems, just search for mk3 common problems
-
it doesn't really show the airbox pipes though.

i wouldnt use ant less than semi synth on a mk3 or even mk2, i just got 20L of Quantum(VW) fully synth think its 10/40 for £60 off of TPS(http://www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk/) its cheap + decent quality

Standard 10w40 mate.

So a semi synthetic 10/40 would be best then?
Have a couple of relatives in the trade so it probably won't be VW quantum, be duckhams or comma
