yeah 2.0 8v , 162 on the clock ,not much history , but that doesnt really bother me tbh , as long as I look after it
queastion : it has front fogs , but they are not connected , i assume ill need the dash switch that pulls out 'twice' ? and the wiring obvioulsy

welcome mate, looks smart........
-
cheers :) really happy with the interior , it does not reflect the mileage at all
-
looks good mate, keep us posted of the progress!

Welcome to the site mate. Ignore the service history. Only advise I'd give is have a basic service done as soon as you can if you are unaware of the history. Stuff like filters, oil and spark plugs.

probably notice it running better/smoother too :)
being a gti, i would have thought it would come ready setup with working fogs.... im not sure, but i think the front fogs are turned on via the light switch to the right of the steering wheel. wiring should already be there, ready to plug into the switch.

I think the front fogs are only standard on the valver ? Definately no dual position switch or wiring present

mm not sure then. best of doing a search for fitting fogs. pretty sure someone on here has fitted front fogs from scratch.

fogs were a option on them all apart from highline and annie
even a option on editions likethe colour concept
last of the gti's to roll out of the production run had them as standard tho i believe
read this re fitment, not much but gives u a idea, its well easy to do
