While I am trying to find out what different companies do with DOB-tuning a GTI I found out that loads of them are not coming with steady figures
I checked JD-Engineering and ABT (the 2 best in the business) so comes ABT Engineering with 210 making it 240 BHP but on some sites the same ABT comes with 210 making it 260 BHP !!!
How comes the substantial difference....of 20 BHP...
Anybody any experience ....as I read the figures I take it that our GTI becomes faster than the R32....GOOD NEWS...

Maybe but... No 4WD.
I think the R will always be quicker just not as cool.

Seems that some cars have been clocking around 220-230 stock for some reason.

cold weather?
conservative VW figures?
use of 98RON (vs 95RON per some of the fuel caps I've seen on Mk6 GTIs)

On the roller bank there are differences between car A and car B of say the same MK V...a golf GTI day including such a feature is an eye-opener.
Indeed the benefit of fuel 98 against 95 is very under-estimated...
