Title: Poorly Mk3
Post by: Crookedeyeboy on 11 January 2010, 08:39
Has anyone experienced the engine just stopping mid drive? Ive had this happen twice now, first I thought it was lack of fuel but ive got just over a 1/4 of a tank and its just done it again on the way to work...

Might well be your crank sensor, the shielding on the cable cracks up and shorts on vibrations.  Mates did it a few weeks back.  would just cut out while going along, sometime start runnin after a few meters or only a slit second, or after a rest.  Swapped that out and not a problem since
