Has anyone had anything falling off or breaking due to the amount of snow/ice on the roads?
To date,i've lost half my front splitter and the centre grill in my bumper, arch linings are hanging off and i'm pretty sure an R32 arch liner extension has gone missing
Going to raise my car at least 50mm tomorrow.
-
i've lost half my front splitter
Thats exactly why ive walked to work all week as my car is low at the front and the height of the snow/ice here will just rip it off.
-
hit a kerb, took a bit out of an RC
being fully looked at tomorrow morning but its done 60 miles this week since that and no odd sounds, creaks or groans and it seems to track pretty true  :smug:
Votex valence does a fine job of stand in snow plow too
-
Had mine parked up all week & been using my Girlfriends Yaris instead.
Patch get it fully wound up its meant to snow most of the weekend around here
-
mines like a tank nothing fallen off yet! :lipsrsealed:

Ive lost me car, cant find it with all the White stuff around
-
I have done my oil sensor on the sump dont no if there is a wire on it that unclips but telling me to go to workshop aint been underneath it due to the amount of snow have all on moving off my street in my anniversary
-
mines in the bodyshop, I hope they haven't broken anything on it lol
-
The window froze to the door without me knowing, tried to wind the windows down and heard the motor make a funny noise and the window didnt open but the motor must have moved the runners down.
Thought nothing of it till i was driving today and the car started to get nice and hot and the window fell inside the door
Luckily it had just seperated itself from the runners but hadnt broke the clips
BLOODY SNOW
-
My car hasn't moved since Saturday!
-
mine got lower
-
My car stayed the same height, but the ground + snow got higher, so overall it works out
-
erm managed so far to just keep getting stuck on the ice and i aint winding the coillies up feck that keep hearing the sump grating :lipsrsealed: and i think the undertray is battered i found a junk in the snow earlier in the week :lipsrsealed:
-
Keep getting grounded on the ridges left by 4x4 drivers. When that ices up its like hitting speed bumps flat out. Been beached twice, off the road three times and stuck twice also ha ha All down to ride height. Ice drift removed front R32 grill and bashed in the bumper and zorst is blowing. All in a week work
-
Well, it turns out my car is low enough that the front valance is getting stuck in the snow! :undecided:
-
Front valance has had a few nocks but so far every thing is ok. Seem to be going though a lot of screen wash so i think i have a leav some where.
-
lol nope cos mone been parked up since monday
-
Mine told me she was cold out in the snow on thursday, so i pushed her into the garage. Furthest its moved. Not driving it in this, thats what the mothers Skoda is for

Ditto this, although i havn't yet got my door card off to see if it's the clips to be honest. iv'e garaged it until the weather is better and am now having trouble using the lambo.
Oh no im not, it's my dads astra, which incidently, he claims go's like a lambo.
-
nice kerbed alloy
-
Mine hasn't moved in a few days and is unlikely to.

Another broken window here, gf wanted to talk to her mate and instead of getting out of the car, yep she hit the button to only be confronted with a loud grinding noise and the window stay firmly in place, so held up with tape till the morning

Mine hasn't moved for nearly a week. I'm just about to go out and start it up to try and defrost things but it's unlikely to move until the weather warms up!

You dont have to have a frozen window to break the regulator in a MK4
-
